The beautiful sun is out and it is hot! (I love the heat!)
Unfortunatley living in my flat is unbearable at the moment.
The heat creates a real stink with all the rubbish dumped in the alleyway and from the commercial rubbish bins overflowing with food waste.
The flies are everywhere too.
The flat I live in really heats up when the sun come out, so opening the windows sometimes creates a little draft and helps.
But, with the stench and flies outside I can’t even open the windows in this heat.
Since the Croydon Council is not doing anything – I’ve contacted Steve Redd via his website https://www.stevereedmp.co.uk/ and asked for help. That was about 8 days ago (I think) – but I have not heard back. Didn’t really think they would actually get back to me.
Maybe when one of the children that live in any of the flats here are insured or get sick, someone might sit up and take notice. But I guess until something bad does happen, nothing will be done to clean up the alleyway.
